Hello!  My name is Mckenna, I’m the florist over here at BlueJay Floral!  I have loved flowers ever since I was a little girl.  Growing beautiful flowers in my Mom & Dad’s yard was a regular thing every summer.  As I grew older I learned to love planting and growing my own plants, although I’m not much of a fan of weeding!  Once I turned 16 I was finally old enough to get a job.  The first place I went to was a local garden shoppe in my hometown!  My summers all throughout high school consisted of helping others make their yards as beautiful as they could.  Although I love planting and growing flowers, I always had a strong desire to learn Floral Design.  Finally, I just decided that enough was enough!  I started learning on my own and here I am today!  I love taking living plants and arranging them in beautiful ways.  Whether traditional or trendy, flowers will always be beautiful and will always put smiles on people’s faces!
